Role Description

The Videographer is a full-time, on-site role based in Leicester, responsible for planning, shooting, and producing video content that supports digital marketing campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role involves collaborating with marketing colleagues to interpret briefs, develop visual concepts, and ensure that video outputs align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. The Videographer will also manage:

  • Basic editing
  • File organization
  • Equipment maintenance

Regular coordination with clients and internal stakeholders will be required to refine concepts and deliver videos on schedule.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Video Production and Shooting Video, with experience planning and executing end-to-end video projects.
  • Proficient Camera Operation and familiarity with different Camera types used in professional and marketing contexts.
  • Practical knowledge of Lighting techniques to achieve high-quality, visually appealing footage in various environments.
  • Experience creating video content for digital marketing, social media, or online advertising campaigns.
  • Basic to intermediate video editing skills using common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
  • Ability to work on-site in Leicester, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interpret creative briefs and provide visual input.
  • Relevant education or training in film, media production, or a related field is beneficial, as is a portfolio showcasing recent work.
