Role Description

This role involves capturing high-quality video and photo content during 90-minute youth football matches in London. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for sports media, ensuring that all key moments of the game are documented. The position is on-site only, requiring reliable attendance at scheduled matches within the London area. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to build their portfolio in sports videography and photography while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Deliverables

  • Capture both video and still photography throughout the duration of each youth football game (90 minutes per match)
  • Ensure all significant moments, player actions, and highlights are recorded with clarity and creativity
  • Organize and deliver raw footage and images promptly after each event
  • Maintain equipment and ensure readiness for each assignment
  • Collaborate with event organizers to understand specific content needs for each game

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in video and photo capture, preferably in sports or live events
  • Proficiency with DSLR or mirrorless cameras and video equipment
  • Strong understanding of framing, lighting, and action photography
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on-site
  • Must be based in London and available for in-person attendance; remote work is not possible
  • Reliable transportation to various game locations within London
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate weekend or evening matches
