Summary
The position of AV1, AV2, or AV3 Video Technician requires an experienced technician to work on an event/job site. This person must demonstrate both technical abilities, crew leadership skills, and have the ability to interface with the client in a professional manner.
AV1 Senior Video Technician Position Requirements
- LED Video Wall rigging, setup, and programming (Zeo owns Chauvet MVP TA8 Curve)
- Large-Format Projector and screen rigging, setup, and focus (Zeo owns Barco, Digital Projection, Da-Lite, AV Stumpfl)
- Camera & Switching Setup & Operation, basic direction of Camera OPs (Tricaster, Livestream, Roland, etc)
AV2 Video Technician Position Requirements
- Large-Format Projector and screen ground-support setup and focus
- Video feed setup & testing
AV3 Video Technician/Assistant Position Requirements

- Setup of small projectors, Da-Lite screens
- Setup of LCD TVs on truss stands
- Video signal distribution from source to projectors & TVs
- Setup of basic audio equipment for video playback
Everyday Success Skills
- Should have the ability to supervise & assign other personnel to accomplish tasks. (AV1)
- Should have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Should be willing to train other technicians. (AV1)
- Should be timely. Prompt arrival to the shop is very important.
- Should have a positive attitude and a desire to succeed.
- Should have a commitment to excellence
- Should be organized and keep a clean work space.
