Vinyl Cutting Technician with Team Leader Duties
My client, based in Gateshead are looking to expand their team with a permanent position for a vinyl cutting technician with some team leader duties.
Duties Include
- Installing all types of internal and external signage, including fascia and post mounted signs
- Leading a small vinyl application team, issuing work orders, managing performance reviews, and managing production to suit deadlines.
- Ensuring all installations are completed on time and to budget
- Sign making, working with a wide range of substrates including dibond, acrylics, metals, wood vinyl, and foamex

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years industry experience making and installing a wide range of signage solutions.
- Experience in use of vinyl plotters, and laminators, together with a strong understanding of signage techniques is essential.
- Proven experience in a sign fitting role is necessary
- Good working knowledge of design and cutting software, such as Corel Draw and SignLab.
