Virtual Coach

Reports to: Senior Program Manager, International

Location: Remote

Status: Part Time/ Full-time (TBD)

Comp: TBC

Position Overview

You're a natural motivator, a skilled communicator, and a digital native who thrives in fast-paced environments. Passionate about health, nutrition, and fitness, you bring energy, empathy, and authenticity to every interaction—from leading a coaching session to promoting on social media. More than a coach, you are a key strategist responsible for work directly related to Weight Watcher’s general business operations and program development.

You will exercise discretion and independent judgment, using your deep understanding of behavioural science and data-driven strategies to develop, refine, and execute coaching programs and brand initiatives. As a Weight Watchers ambassador and key contributor to our brand and program strategy, you have a deep understanding of behavioural science and know how to leverage data-driven strategies to empower people to make informed choices, stay accountable, and drive lasting change. A trusted guide and vibrant community builder, you're excited to inform business decisions, shape messaging, and influence our brand and bring a fresh perspective to how we engage with audiences around the world.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Brand Support on Marketing Campaigns:

  • Work closely with marketing and communications teams to align strategic messaging and campaign execution.

Develop In-App Content:

  • Autonomously design and create high-impact videos, challenges, and resources that drive daily engagement and support healthy behaviour change.

Produce External Content:

  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to co-create content for social media, including posts, blogs, reels, and video series that support the broader brand campaigns and strategic initiatives.

Share Your Journey:

  • Authentically share your own wellness experience online to model behaviour change and reinforce WW’s principles (at a minimum, one mutually agreed upon in-feed post per week, with the potential for additional content as needed).

Coach & Connect

Lead Virtual Sessions:

  • As a Virtual Coach, you’ll be responsible for leading virtual engagements which can include group workshops, livestreams, and specialised check-ins, to test, model, and refine coaching methodologies and programmes, providing members with accountability and guidance.

Empower Members & Gather Insights:

  • Guide members with expert insights on WW’s science-backed programme pillars and specialised programmes (Points, GLP-1, and Menopause), using these interactions to gather qualitative data for strategic review.

Build Community:

  • Create safe and inclusive spaces where members feel seen and heard, fostering connections that inspire healthy lifestyles.

Mentor and Support Coaches:

  • Provide mentorship and subject matter expertise to fellow coaches and new hires. Provide community support for peer workshops to foster a strong team culture.

Build & Grow Community

Foster Online Spaces:

  • Proactively engage with members and followers across all platforms by responding to questions, sparking conversations, and nurturing a welcoming environment.

Drive Conversation:

  • Actively facilitate member-to-member interaction to build a vibrant digital community that supports retention and recruitment.

Expand Brand Reach:

  • Use your personal channels to share your experience as a WW Coach and organically promote brand awareness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A passionate wellness advocate who is a current WW member, WW Coach or excited to join WW.
  • Experience in program development, strategic planning, or consulting within health, wellness, nutrition, or fitness.
  • Coaching or facilitation experience is a plus.
  • A digital native with a strong presence on social media and experience creating strategic, data-driven content.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an empathetic and clear style.
  • The ability to analyze and synthesize science-backed concepts and formulate strategic guidance for diverse audiences.
  • Willing to work untraditional hours, including some nights and weekends.
