Job Title: Virtual Moving Surveyor

We are hiring a Virtual Moving Surveyor for a top international removals business operating across the UK, Europe, and worldwide. This remote role involves conducting virtual surveys and supporting clients relocating abroad—ideal for someone with communication skills and language proficiency.

Candidates must be fluent in English and proficient in either French, German, or Dutch.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual surveys, create quotes, and book moves for clients moving domestically and abroad.
  • Assess shipment volumes, vehicle accessibility, special handling needs, and packing requirements.
  • Advise clients on customs procedures, moving logistics, transit timelines, and destination-specific factors.
  • Identify any operational challenges that may affect the move.
  • Coordinate with partner networks, operations, and move management to ensure precise service delivery.
  • Review inventory details to ensure the survey accurately captures all removal requirements.
  • Maintain regular contact with prospective clients for progress updates.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the survey and relocation process.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous surveying experience in the removals and moving industry.
  • Proven track record in household goods relocations across Europe and international markets.
  • Professional-level fluency in written and spoken Dutch, French, or German (in addition to English).
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • International shipping techniques
    • Export packing specifications
    • Customs documentation & processes
    • Global moving procedures and regulations
