Role Overview
At DXC, a platinum account is seeking System Administrators at different skill levels. Successful candidates will work across multiple teams, exhibiting innovation, analytical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail. You will be responsible for implementing standards, policies, and procedures aimed at continual service improvement.

Role Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support on incidents and problems
- Monitor overall system performance and ensure smooth system functionality
- Create, maintain, and utilise documentation
- Assist in building compliance with processes and policies
Minimum Requirements
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Experience working to ITIL best practices
- Desire to improve processes and identify root causes of issues
- Willingness to share knowledge and learn from peers
- Proactive approach towards recognising risks and potential problems
Desirable Skills & Technologies
Core Expertise
- Deep knowledge and understanding of virtualisation
- Experience in installation, upgrading, configuration, and support of:
- Windows 2016/2019 and Windows Server
- AWS and Azure
- Experience with Red Hat-related products, including:
- Satellite 6
- OpenShift 3/4
- RHEL/CentOS 6/7/8, and RHEL Atomic/CoreOS
- Knowledge of Active Directory, including:
- Object creation
- OU (Organisational Unit) management
- RBAC (Role-Based Access Control)
- DFS (Distributed File System)
Networking & Infrastructure
- Knowledge of VSAN and SCVMM (System Center Virtual Machine Manager)
- Knowledge of Hyper-V
- Awareness of networking protocols, such as:
- TCP/IP
- DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol)
- DNS (Domain Name System)
- LAN (Local Area Network) and WAN (Wide Area Network)

Scripting & Tools
- PowerShell scripting proficiency
- Knowledge of Bash, Python, and/or Git
Security
- Awareness of McAfee EPO (Enterprise Policy Orchestrator) and ENS (Endpoint Security)
