Visitor Experience Manager

£40,000–£50,000
Hertfordshire | Full-time | On-site (5 days per week)

We are working with a prestigious heritage and visitor destination that welcomes thousands of guests each year across its historic estate, attractions, events, gardens, and leisure facilities. Due to an ongoing team restructure and increased seasonal demand, our client is seeking an experienced Visitor Experience Manager to join the business on a six-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on opportunity to make an immediate impact within a high-profile visitor attraction where no two days are the same.

The Visitor Experience Manager will provide operational leadership across the visitor experience function, ensuring exceptional service standards while supporting a busy site through a period of change. You'll become a visible presence across the estate, working closely with operational teams to deliver a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for every visitor.

Role Highlights

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of a busy visitor attraction.
  • Coordinate and support a large casual workforce across multiple visitor-facing areas.
  • Deliver regular team briefings and maintain excellent communication across departments.
  • Resolve operational challenges quickly while maintaining exceptional visitor standards.
  • Participate in a weekend management duty rota (approximately two weekends per month with time off in lieu).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
