Job Description
As a Visitor Experience & Retail Assistant at Belhaven Brewery, you will:
- Create memorable, enjoyable experiences for every visitor
- Support smooth operational and retail standards at the brewery site
- Welcome guests, conduct engaging brewery tours, and maintain cleanliness
- Contribute to a safe, efficient, and collaborative environment

Key Work Pattern:
Every Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service, including meet & greet, guided tours, and storytelling
- Assist with retail operations (sales, merchandising, cash handling)
- Maintain cellar presentation and cleanliness (including weekly line cleaning)
- Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed
- Support events, promotions, and site operations as required
Requirements
As a Visitor Experience & Retail Assistant, you will need:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in retail, hospitality, or tourism
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, welcoming personality
- Confidence handling cash and till/EPOS systems
- Ability to work flexibly, prioritise tasks, and adapt to duties
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, initiative, and collaborate
