Responsibilities

As a Visitor Services Officer, you will:

  • Contribute to achieving an exceptional visitor experience by providing outstanding service that leaves visitors with lasting memories
  • Work across our visitor welcome/visitor centre, ensuring smooth, inclusive, and enjoyable experiences for guests
  • Collaborate with the wider team to maintain visitor facilities effectively
  • Cultivate a supportive and positive work environment that:
    • Encourages teamwork
    • Supports productivity
    • Fosters individual growth
  • Promote Forestry England’s work through:
    • Events
    • Membership drives
    • Legacy giving
    • Volunteering opportunities

You will support both local and national events and will be expected to undertake regular weekend and bank holiday working to meet visitor and operational needs.
