£72,702 – £80,780 London Full-time, Hybrid: 2+ days at an office site
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Visual Designer to join our Experience Design team—comprising designers, researchers, and strategists—where you’ll help craft compelling digital experiences through storytelling, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.
At the heart of the role is the human-centered approach to design. You’ll bring your imagination and expertise to create engaging, accessible designs that solve real customer challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply creative thinking to simplify complex problems and make design intuitive
- Produce production assets, including infographics, logos, and digital elements
- Lead the design of digital experiences, interfaces (web & mobile), and engaging UI/UX solutions
- Transform mundane elements into compelling, exciting visuals
- Shape and refine our digital design system to improve scalability and consistency
- Develop storytelling techniques to enhance brand and business communication
- Prototype designs (Figma is our core tool; experience required, plus experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and Acrobat)
- Work flexibly within agile teams, setting priorities, visualizing outcomes, and defining project scope
- Collaborate across design teams and communities of practice to align designs with customer-centric objectives
- Design and layout UI/UX pages, balancing storytelling, content, and usability using design system components
- Ensure designs are accessible and communicate clearly with developers to bring solutions to life for diverse user groups

What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Demonstrable experience in Visual Design
- Experience solving visual design challenges, leading end-to-end digital brand experiences
- Proficiency with Figma (and Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel)
- Collaborative mindset—willing to mentor and learn alongside a full-stack, multidisciplinary design team (including researchers, content designers, service designers, and interaction designers)
- Strong vocation for accessibility and human-centered design principles
- Ability to clearly communicate designs with developers to ensure execution meets specifications while being inclusive for all users
Nice to Have
- Zeal for digital innovation and curiosity about emerging design trends
- Creativity beyond standard constraints—turning complexity into clarity
