About Studio B
Studio B is a fast-growing, high-energy creative studio producing bold, social-first digital content for some of the world’s biggest brands. We blend production craft, innovative CG, and high-impact visual effects across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
We operate at speed—some projects go from concept to final delivery in just a single week. We’re looking for a versatile, sharp Mid-Level VFX Artist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to own shots from raw concept to final composite.
The Opportunity
As a VFX Artist at Studio B, you will act as a core 3D Generalist with strong Compositing capabilities. You won't just sit in one pipeline silo—you’ll take full ownership of shots across modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and final 2D compositing.
While you’ll have the support of experienced supervisors and artists every step of the way, you should be eager to manage your own pipeline, adapt on the fly, and elevate the visual bar across all our projects.
Where You’ll Make An Impact
- Model, texture, shade, light, and render photorealistic CG shots, assets, and environments (including matte paintings and character integration).
- Utilise Foundry Nuke to seamlessly blend 3D renders into final shots using advanced 2D compositing techniques.
- Utilise USD workflows to assemble complex scenes, optimise lighting, and build efficient VFX pipelines.
- Partner closely with VFX Supervisors, CG Supervisors, and Production teams to establish shot aesthetics and provide creative feedback.
- Confidently leverage modern AI tools and scripts to speed up repetitive tasks without sacrificing craft or quality.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
