Area Merchandiser | Scotland & North England | Up to £28,000
Location: Central Belt (Edinburgh & Glasgow) Salary: Up to £28,000 Contract: Full Time | Permanent Travel: Regional (with occasional overnight stays)

About the Role
We are recruiting an Area Merchandiser to support a leading beauty retail operation across Scotland. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you will:
- Visit stores to ensure effective merchandising.
- Support new product launches and range updates.
- Coach merchandisers and maintain outstanding industry standards.
- Oversee your assigned region while building strong relationships with store teams.

You will act as the key merchandising expert for your area, ensuring consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct store visits across your designated region.
- Merchandise new products and adjust existing ranges.
- Audit merchandising standards and planogram compliance.
- Provide training and coach merchandisers in-store.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Foster strong relationships with store management teams.
- Submit reports and photographic documentation for feedback.
Your Skills & Experience

- Strong retail background, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- ** Merchandising experience is desirable but not mandatory.**
- Prior training or people development experience.
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
- Willingness to travel frequently, including occasional overnight stays.
