Paul Smith

Paul Smith is one of Britain’s leading independent design companies, driven by a spirit of curiosity, playfulness, adaptability and passion. These values shape every aspect of the brand, whether it’s a shirt, a shop or a special collaboration. Happily positioned between high fashion and formalwear, while taking reference from both, Paul Smith has always been proud to stand apart.

Exciting Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Visual Merchandiser to join our Visual Merchandising and Display team in London. Reporting into the Visual Merchandising Manager, this role will oversee the visual merchandising standards for a designated area of UK shops, with a focus on Wholesale locations in and around London and the South West.

We're seeking a confident Visual Merchandiser who takes pride in delivering high visual standards and is looking to make a meaningful impact within a close-knit and collaborative team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Regularly visit your designated shops in accordance with the VM calendar, merchandising the shop floor in line with the marketing calendar and the relevant commercial pushes.
  • Discuss and collaborate with the in-store team about the required changes and carry out before and after floor walks.
  • Document all changes with photographs that can be shared with the wider business and follow up visits with a store report.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with Shop Managers, Brand Specialists and shop staff and support with the organisation and delivery of seasonal training.
  • Ensure that shops adhere to global VM, pricing and tagging guidelines at all times and that any global or retail specific guidelines and initiatives are followed.
  • Assist the VM Manager with the organisation and preparation of the London Showrooms, such as for seasonal selling set up and VM, Press Days and Special Events.
  • Ensure all UK Wholesale shops are visited according to a monthly or seasonal rotation by yourself or the wider team.
  • Support with the organisation and implementation of pop-ups and windows for Wholesale projects.
  • Be an initial point of contact for shop staff and wholesale partners, gathering feedback and challenges across all locations and highlighting actions to be taken where necessary.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
