Visual Merchandising Manager

We’re on the lookout for a Visual Merchandising Manager to join our team on a fixed term contract — a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves shaping how products come to life in store and enjoys leading others to deliver great retail experiences.

In this role, you’ll lead our team of Visual Merchandisers to turn creative vision and commercial plans into clear, accurate and inspiring store-level layouts. You’ll champion best practice, improve our systems and processes, and make sure our planograms land “right first time” across all formats and channels.

You’ll work closely with teams across Creative, Product, Marketing, Commercial and wider Operations to bring the Trade Plan to life — keeping everything aligned, efficient, and delivered on time.

Your Responsibilities

  • Translating ranging strategies and VM principles into brilliant store-level planograms
  • Influencing fixture and kit design to make shopping easy and enjoyable
  • Creating a “right first time” culture through accurate, high-quality planograms
  • Improving ways of working by enhancing systems, processes and automation
  • Working closely with Senior Product Managers and Range Managers to ensure all plans follow customer vision
  • Showcasing planograms to customers, using data and insights to bring them to life
  • Acting as the escalation point for all VM activity, including system maintenance and product lifecycle management
  • Leading and developing a team of Visual Merchandisers — building capability, consistency and confidence
  • Collaborating cross-functionally on visual aids, POS matrices and range builds

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
