Visual Specialist
Visual Merchandiser
About the Role
As a Visual Merchandiser, you bring The White Company brand to life through inspiring product presentation and creative execution. You play a key role in shaping how customers experience our stores, ensuring every space feels considered, cohesive, and true to our brand.
This role combines creativity with commercial awareness. You will work closely with store teams and Area Visual Managers to deliver visual excellence that supports sales, storytelling, and an exceptional customer experience.
Please note: You will have access to the premises and may be required to work early morning shifts to assist with product placement following delivery. You will occasionally work overnight where appropriate.
What You’ll Be Doing
Customer and Brand Experience
- Create calm, inspiring visual displays that reflect the The White Company brand and seasonal direction.
- Ensure product presentation supports customer navigation, storytelling, and purchasing decisions.
- Deliver consistent visual standards across the store, helping customers feel inspired and confident in their choices.
- Use visual detail and layout to enhance the overall shopping experience and brand perception.
People and Culture: Being a Team Player
- Work collaboratively with Store Management and Area Visual Managers to deliver visual direction.
- Inspire and support store teams to understand and maintain visual standards on the shop floor.
- Share knowledge and guidance on product presentation and seasonal storytelling.
- Communicate clearly, positively, and professionally with colleagues at all levels.
- Take pride in representing The White Company values and ways of working.

Store Operations: Supporting the Store
- Execute and maintain all visual merchandising and window displays in line with company guidelines.
- Implement weekly visual focus actions and ensure alignment with current campaigns and priorities.
- Balance task completion with maintaining a calm, attentive customer experience.
- Ensure all current product is represented on the sales floor and replenished to maximise availability.
- Produce, upload, and maintain seasonal and promotional visuals, responding to feedback to improve standards.
- Support the planning and delivery of seasonal floorplans in partnership with the Area Visual Manager.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation, and safety in all visual activity.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and support keyholder responsibilities when required.
- Travel to other locations to support new store openings or model store set-ups as needed.
About You
- A genuine passion for visual presentation, design, and attention to detail.
- Experience in a visual merchandising or retail environment.
- Organised, creative, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Confident in communicating and working collaboratively with others.
- A strong understanding of The White Company customer and brand aesthetic.
- Comfortable using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Professional, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards.
