Role Overview
In this role, you will take ownership of the Microsoft Viva Insights data environment, ensuring the delivery of accurate, consistent, and high-quality organizational data within a complex enterprise setting. You will manage data cleansing processes, oversee data ingestion through systems such as Microsoft Admin Centre (MAC) and MODIS, and continuously monitor and improve data quality standards. You will maintain field attributes, ensuring clear definitions and metadata governance, while performing core Viva Insights administration activities, including data uploads, validation, organizational hierarchy configuration, and access management. You will ensure that all data is well-structured, trusted, and aligned to governance standards, enabling reliable collaboration insights and reporting for senior leadership and HR analytics teams.
You will design, manage, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines that integrate Viva Insights with employee survey platforms, HR systems, and other enterprise data sources, supporting advanced analytics and strategic programs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Organisational Effectiveness, Culture & Behaviour, and Data Science, translating business requirements into robust data solutions. You will implement and maintain governance frameworks, ensuring access controls, data security, and compliance with audit requirements. By enabling seamless access to high-quality data, you will support stakeholders in generating meaningful insights that drive organizational effectiveness and informed decision-making.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in Viva Insights administration
- Understanding of the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre
- Experience managing large, complex data environments
- Data management, cleansing, and governance expertise
- Experience with data pipelines and integration across systems
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across technical and business teams
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Viva Insights platform administration
- Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Admin Centre, data flows)
- Python, SQL (Hive/Hue) for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with Copilot data management concepts and controls
- Data modelling and transformation techniques

Location
Your role will be located from our Northampton or London office.
Purpose of the Role
To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes, to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
Accountabilities
- Build and maintain data architecture pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete, and consistent data.
- Design and implementation of data warehouses and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures.
- Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
- Collaboration with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models.
