The Role
We are currently looking for a VNA Driver (referred to internally as a Warehouse Operative) to join our team. This role will be based at our site in Northampton GP3 (NN4 5FB).
In this role, you will support the effective running of the warehouse operation, including inbound and outbound processes across the site. This will involve working within a highly regulated environment, so previous experience working within this type of operation is desirable.
We are offering a salary of £28,354.14 + £832 shift allowance per annum. This is working Monday – Friday on the PM shift (2pm – 10pm).

Key Responsibilities
- As directed, safely handle products through all inbound and outbound processes, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure all goods are handled in the correct manner to ensure that damage is kept to a minimum and manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury and harm.
- Appropriate use of MHE (Manual Handling Equipment) as directed and in accordance with training. This role will involve operating a VNA Forklift Truck.
- Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse.
- Follow all Health and Safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and report concerns to your Line Manager.
- Perform equipment checks and report any defects promptly.
- Ensure any concerns, issues, or variances are communicated immediately to your Line Manager, to allow the appropriate action to be taken in a swift manner.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience working in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
- A valid VNA Licence is essential for this role.
- A team player with a flexible, proactive attitude.
- Good general IT skills and ideally experience using warehouse management systems – training will be provided where required.
- Awareness of manual handling techniques.
- Able to adapt to changing demands and meet deadlines.
