Scottish Voice Actor / Voice-Over Artist (AI Speech Training)
About The Role
What if your Scottish voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people around the world? We're working with leading AI research teams to help machines better understand natural human speech — and we need authentic Scottish voices to make it happen.
This is a paid contract role involving in-person professional studio recording sessions. Your voice, your accent, and your ability to speak naturally are the skills that matter most here.
This project does not involve voice cloning.

What You'll Do
- Record natural, conversational Scottish English speech in a professional studio environment
- Participate in solo recording sessions and paired dialogue conversations
- Bring authentic, unscripted-sounding delivery to a range of everyday speech scenarios
- Follow light direction on tone, pacing, and delivery style
- Help AI systems learn to understand real human speech — not synthesised or cloned audio
Who You Are
- A voice actor, voice-over artist, or performer with a genuine Scottish accent
- Native or near-native Scottish English speaker currently based in Scotland
- Comfortable speaking naturally and conversationally in front of a microphone
- Receptive to direction and able to adjust delivery on the fly
- Professional, reliable, and easy to work with in a studio setting

Nice to Have
- Acting, theatre, or performance background
- Prior experience in broadcast, podcasting, or professional studio recording
- Familiarity with dialogue-based or conversational recording formats
