UK English Voice Actor — AI Speech Recording
About the Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people? We're working with leading AI research teams to improve how AI systems hear and process natural human speech — and we need professional UK English voice actors to make it happen.
This is a paid contract role for experienced voice-over artists and voice actors based in the United Kingdom.
- You'll take part in professional studio recording sessions
- Perform natural conversational dialogue to train the next generation of AI speech technology
- Not associated with voice cloning
Organisation: Alignerr Type: Contract Session Format: In-person professional studio (locally assigned) Session Length: 4 hours per session (2–3 sessions total)

What You'll Do
- Record natural, conversational UK English speech in a professional studio environment
- Participate in:
- Single-speaker sessions
- Dual-speaker dialogue exchanges
- Vary:
- Tone
- Pacing
- Delivery based on light direction from the team
- Perform realistic dialogue that sounds:
- Unscripted
- Human
- Authentic
- Apply professional voice craft to help AI truly understand how people speak
Who You Are
- A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with relevant recording experience
- A:
- Native, or near-native UK English speaker
- Strong, authentic accent
- Based in the United Kingdom
- Comfortable performing natural conversational speech (not scripted reads)
- Professional, reliable, and receptive to direction in a studio setting
- Fluent in English at a working communication level
