🕒 Full-Time | Fixed-Term Maternity Cover

Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their goals and progress into employment, further education, or apprenticeships?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Vocational & Childcare Tutor to join our Wolverhampton centre on a full-time maternity cover basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support learners in developing vocational skills, employability, and childcare knowledge within a positive and engaging learning environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to learners studying vocational and childcare-related programmes. You will help learners build confidence, develop essential skills, and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Delivering engaging vocational and childcare sessions
  • Supporting learners to achieve qualifications and personal targets
  • Embedding employability, maths, English, and personal development into the delivery
  • Monitoring learner progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Providing pastoral support and motivation to learners
  • Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about education and supporting young people
  • Experienced in delivering vocational and/or childcare training
  • Able to engage and motivate learners with varying needs and abilities
  • Organized, proactive, and able to effectively manage learner progress
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team

Essential Requirements

  • Experience delivering vocational and/or childcare qualifications
  • A relevant vocational qualification in Childcare or a related subject
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Experience working with young people

Desirable

  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
  • Experience delivering Functional Skills or employability courses
  • Experience within alternative provision or post-16 education
