Segment Performance & Operations Lead – Private Sector | VodafoneThree

Location

London OR Newbury + Hybrid

  • Working Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
  • Hybrid Policy: 2–3 days per month in-office (minimum 8 days/month). Flexibility to collaborate in-person aligns with team and manager expectations.

The Role

As the Segment Performance & Operations Lead for the Private Sector, you’ll be the strategic driver behind commercial excellence, translating vision into measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Leadership:
    • Deliver high-impact strategic insights, ensuring senior stakeholders align on key decisions with clarity and structure.
    • Provide daily trading packs, QBR/MOR reports, and ad-hoc analytics to highlight performance trends.
  • Private Sector Renewals:
    • Oversee proactive planning, risk identification, and margin optimisation for Private Sector renewals (deadline-independent focus).
  • Collaboration & Alignment:
    • Act as the hub for Sales, Finance, Product, and Enablement, unifying priorities across functions.
  • Programme Ownership:
    • Steer large-scale initiatives (e.g., Lighthouse/Accelerate), managing risks and keeping delivery on track.
  • Strategic Partnerships:
    • Build and sustain high-performing relationships with key partners, ensuring consistent engagement through structured frameworks.
  • Governance & Mobilisation:
    • Lead governance forums and stakeholder meetings with structured agendas, high-quality briefings, and disciplined follow-ups.
  • Culture & Capability Drive:
    • Champion change management initiatives, aligning sales priorities with measurable growth outcomes across the team.
  • Updating Operational Efficiency:
    • Consistently rework and optimise "operational and administrative" aspects to drive efficiency in all procedures, improving ongoing ability to engage customers effectively.

About You

Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced in Sales Operations or Business Management (B2B/enterprise focus), with a performance-driven track record.
  • Analytical Expertise: Proven ability to compile complex sales data into actionable insights and scalable processes.
  • Program Delivery: Managed multiple high-stakes programmes with tight deadlines in matrixed environments.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Confident communicating with non-technical leadership, shaping agendas and consensus-building.
  • Enterprise Acumen: Hands-on experience with governance, performance forums or comparable commercial settings.
  • Telecomm Preference (Desirable): Congenial experience with mobile/network solutions (telecom products/services) enhances fit but isn’t mandatory.
