Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

What you'll do
This is a career-defining opportunity to join one of the most exciting transformations in the UK telecoms industry. As we bring together two leading organizations to create the UK's largest mobile network provider, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our Consumer business. Working closely with senior finance and business leaders, you will provide the insight, challenge, and financial stewardship needed to drive performance, improve efficiency, and ensure investment decisions deliver real value.
You will:
- Partners with Consumer Leadership Team members and their teams to manage and optimize Opex budgets, supporting them in achieving their financial targets.
- Build trusted relationships across the business, providing financial insight, challenge, and guidance to drive informed decision-making.
- Lead annual planning and budgeting activities, including Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB), while supporting long-term financial planning.
- Own and develop forecasting models that track performance, identify trends, and provide clear visibility of future outcomes.
- Deliver meaningful financial analysis and reporting, translating complex data into clear recommendations and actionable insights.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to balance priorities, influence decisions, and align teams around common financial goals.
- Partner with VOIS finance teams to ensure strong alignment on performance, budgets, and strategic priorities.
- Drive strong financial governance and controls, including variance analysis, risk and opportunity management, synergy tracking, and purchase order oversight.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency across the Consumer organisation.
- Champion a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Who you are
- Strong financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business partnering experience.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into business actions.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and storytelling skills.
- Proven ability to influence and challenge stakeholders constructively at senior levels.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to understand business drivers and evaluate investment opportunities.
- Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Passionate about continuous improvement and finding smarter ways of working.
