Finance Operations Specialist – Consumer Bad Debt P&L
Location: Any Vodafone/Three Office Location + Hybrid Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, hybrid, 8 in-office days per month)

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Commercial Guidance: Lead commercial appraisals and business cases impacting the Consumer Bad Debt P&L, evaluating revenue, margin, and cost implications across the business.

FinOps Leadership: Own and evolve the FinOps Risks & Opportunities register, ensuring proactive management of drivers with clear transparency.

Outcome-Driven Analysis: Oversee post-implementation reviews and benefits tracking, validating alignment with goals and embedding learnings into future strategies.

Financial Modelling & Forecasting: Develop and refine forecasting models and scenario analyses to improve financial predictability while maintaining analytical rigor.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Simplify complex financial data into actionable insights for governance forums, building cross-team alignment and consistency in financial narratives.

Process Improvement: Champion smarter, leaner working by refining processes, tools, and methodologies—for sustainable efficiency.

Compliance & Accountability: Ensure all deliverables meet accuracy, compliance, and governance standards, with consistent accountability.
Who We’re Looking For
We seek ambitious professionals with experience in commercial finance, financial modelling, or P&L management. Though traditional qualifications aren’t prescriptive, these traits define outstanding candidates:
- Telecoms expertise preferred (revenue, bad debt, or customer value levers).
- Technical proficiency in forecasting, scenario planning, and data-driven decision-making.
- Analytical + emotional intelligence—precision co-existing with communication.
- Governance comfort (reconciliation, post-implementation reviews, and benefits reporting).
- Team spirit—ability to build trust across Functions and advocate complex ideas clearly.
- Proactive mindset—always seeking ways to outperform expectations.
