What You’ll Do
The Technical Delivery Lead oversees complex network work packages, ensuring seamless delivery by managing external partners, internal teams, and aligned outcomes.
- Own end-to-end technical delivery, from mobilisation to acceptance and handover
- Service-manage external partners (onshore and offshore), setting SLAs, KPIs, and OLAs for consistent quality
- Act as the primary escalation authority for assigned programmes, resolving risks, dependencies, and cross-functional conflicts
- Matrix-manage internal teams (planning, build, operations, commercial) to align priorities and remove blockers
- Govern delivery through reporting, RAID tracking, milestone reviews, and stakeholder engagement
- Ensure delivered solutions meet technical standards, architectural intent, safety, and quality
- Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, partner effectiveness, and service discipline
- Represent technical delivery in governance forums, providing clear status, risk, and decision recommendations
Who You Are
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience in telecommunications network delivery/engineering, with deep expertise in Transmission/Optical/IP/Fibre
- Proven ability to manage externally delivered work packages using formal governance frameworks
- Strong understanding of end-to-end network delivery lifecycle (design, build, test, acceptance, handover)
- Leadership in delivery performance, risk resolution, and stakeholder management without direct line authority
- Comfortable operating in a commercially driven, outcome-focused environment
- Exceptional stakeholder communication and escalation management skills
