Financial Accountability Manager – Networks (Newbury + Hybrid)
Location
- Newbury (or Hybrid, Mon–Fri, 37.5 hrs/week).
- Flexible office schedule: 2–3 days in office per week, aligned with team/manager expectations.

About the Role
This is a career-defining opportunity to shape Vodafone Three’s legacy as the UK’s best-in-class network provider, blending financial rigour, cross-functional leadership, and strategic insight. You’ll take ownership of end-to-end financial performance management across Networks, driving operational excellence through data-led decision-making and fiscal discipline.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Financial Reporting & Governance
- Lead consolidated financial performance reporting, including:
- Monthly YeOY (%) variance analysis, budget updates and reforecasts to support senior leadership.
- Capex/Opex variance reviews with challenge management and dependency mapping.
- Risk/opportunity reports, ensuring forecasts align with budget constraints.
- Ensure strategic cohesion across ad-hoc and HM cycles (annual/quarterly financial reviews).

✅ Cross-Business Alignment
- Provide vertical teams with real-time financial insights for network deployment programmes.
- Collaborate on SAP/Oracle-based financial change initiatives, process improvements, and automation.
✅ Data-Driven Value Delivery
- Track JBP achievement, synergies, spend performance, and project-wide ROIs.
- Elevate decision-making any-shape reporting and automation tracts to improve accuracy and efficiency.
✅ Financial Leadership
- Establish ownership structures for financial accountability, discipline, and oversight of delivery performance.
What We’re Looking For
Core Skills & Experience
- Advanced Excel expertise (macros, Pivot Tables, lookups) + Power BI reporting & visualisation.
- Hands-on experience with SAP/Oracle financial systems for procurement/risk assessment.
- Ability to rapidly identify trends/risk gaps, and deliver under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
