Role Description

You’ll Be Part of

Joining VodafoneThree, creators of the UK’s best mobile network and leaders in innovation and inclusion. As a Project Specialist in Finance Transformation, you’ll help shape our digital future by delivering performance tools that power financial excellence.

Why This Matters

We’re merging two giants to form the UK’s largest telecom provider. Your role is pivotal in designing better processes for Finance teams, ensuring smooth collaboration across the business—on everything from Agile methodologies to strategic digital projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support small-to-medium Finance transformation projects, ensuring efficient delivery and measurable results
  • Collaborate with Finance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to analyse people, processes, and technical impacts
  • Charter and ** drive working groups** to align stakeholders and maintain focus on project objectives
  • Track project lifecycles: plans, risks, requirements, and risk management, reporting clearly to leadership
  • Manage documentation (business cases, briefs, testing) and guide decisions—financing “go/no-go” transitions
  • Embed quality improvement: refine workflows, test solutions, and ensure user acceptance before full deployment
  • Contribute to centralised governance, demand management, and PMO activities to support broader Finance Delivery Hub
  • Champion inclusivity, learning—both within teams and improving agile methods/Efficient PMOs

What We’re Looking For

Must Have: Project experience, high-organisational fluency, stakeholder adaptability, ability to deliver under pressure. Experience Preference: Theory (not solely Agile/Waterfall): PRINCE2, Mid-range Lean/Incremental Design Thinking, PMO demos. Technical Proficiencies: Thriving in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
