Senior Business Development Specialist – Multinational Customers
Location: Stoke-on-Trent (Contact Centre or Location Independent Worker) Work Arrangements: Full-time (37.5 hours per week, Mon–Fri) – may require remote work from Vodafone premises Salary: Excellent basic salary, performance bonus, and Vodafone benefits (including Vodafone device)

The Role
As a Senior Business Development Specialist, you’ll be the strategic driving force for VodafoneThree’s highest-value multinational corporate accounts. Success hinges on:
Core Responsibilities
- Account Growth & Relationship Management:
- Lead business reviews with C-suite stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment, risk mitigation, and new revenue opportunities
- Champion B2B & Consumer-Centric (B&C) propositions, driving cross-sell to existing accounts
- Negotiate and close deals with multinational enterprises, navigating complex global/regional contracts with Account Growth Managers (GAMs)

Sales Strategy & Pipeline Development:
- Identify, qualify, and cultivate high-value opportunities across VodafoneThree’s full portfolio
- Build a robust pipeline to achieve at least 4x sales targets, prioritising deep engagement with decision-makers, technical, and procurement teams
- Tailor solutions to client challenges, leveraging 5G, AI, and IoT to unlock long-term value

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Model core values by mentoring peers, supporting sales targets, and advocating for customer needs to internal teams
- Work cross-functionally with regional teams, tech experts, and legal/financial partners
- Drives customer retention and upsell, focusing on minimising attrition risks
Your Profile
We’re looking for strategic B2B powerhouses with:
Essential Experience

Enterprise sales/architecture background, ideally in telecoms, B2B digital, or IoT environments

Track record of:
- Winning multi-million-pound contracts
- Developing structured sales plans aligned with global/regional strategies
- Prospecting and nurturing complex stakeholders (including CExec board members)
- Managing Multiple Account Manager (MAM) relationships, coordinating risks and growth potentials

Technical & Commercial Acumen:
- Ability to articulate value between connectivity, cybersecurity, and business outcomes
- Analysis skills: business-to-business rapid growth evaluation, revenue forecasting, and pipeline health
- Comfortable with agile, data-driven negotiations in fast-moving industries
