Location: London – Customer Location (onsite) Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefitsWorking Hours: Full time 39.5 hours per week – Shift working role - 3 day & 3 night shifts, followed by 6 days off rotational shifts between 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM (Sunday to Sunday Rotation)Security Clearance: This position requires you to hold a UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. What you’ll doTo be part of the Assure team in the VBSE NOC, managing multiple networks, providing 24 x 7 x365 operational support to VBSE customers.To provide expert technical services, focusing on IP elements within the VBSE network, but also being able to provide support on a broad range of network elements as required, ensuring that customer SLA targets for incident resolution are met or exceeded.

Undertake Assure team maintenance and fault work in accordance with customer service level agreements. Understanding of IP voice Networks and networking (Cisco) Undertake remote provide/ commissioning work on equipment deployed on customer and network sites to current specifications. Deal effectively /efficiently with queries from customers. Provide technical support to others in the department and to customers. Make recommendations to VBSE management on complex technical matters.

Who you are
Be able to maintain Customer confidentiality and ability to hold developed security clearance (DV). Have an in-depth knowledge of IP networking, switching and routing in a telecom’s provider environment. Have an awareness of configuration of Cisco IP/Ethernet equipment. Have a clear and analytical approach to problem management. Have an understanding of ITIL working practices CCNA (or working towards IP qualification)
