Working Environment
Location: Newbury + Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

You’re required to be in the office 2-3 days per week, 8 days per month minimum, ensuring you balance in-office work with the flexibility of remote working. Cooperate with your line manager to define expectations tailored for your role and team.

What You’ll Do (ROC - Responsibilities & Outcomes)
Core Responsibilities & Key Areas:

Financial Reporting and Processes: Lead the month-end close processes for Debt Sale, IFRS 16, and TowerCo, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Forecasting and Analytics: Own the forecasting process, develop deep insights into financial drivers, and provide support for rolling forecasts.

Performance and Variance Analysis: Regularly analyse financial performance, identify trends, and deliver comprehensive variance analyses against budgets and forecasts.

Risk Management and Issue Escalation: Proactively monitor risks and escalate issues to maintain and achieve working capital targets.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Relationships: Develop strong relationships with stakeholders in both Commercial and Finance teams. Act as a trusted advisor, influencing and guiding changes to drive ownership of working capital initiatives and results.

Process Efficiency and Optimization: Identify and implement initiatives to enhance cash flow and improve working capital efforts. Collaborate across teams to refine processes and deliver consistent efficiency improvements.

Financial Modelling and Reporting Tools: Develop and maintain robust financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools.

Leadership and Strategic Insights: Present clear, actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Key Requirements (Who You Are)

Qualified Accountant: Required certification should be ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.

Financial Modelling and Data Interpretation: Demonstrate strong expertise in financial modelling and scenario analysis, and complex data interpretation to make impactful decisions.

Advanced Excel and System Skills: Proficient in tools such as Excel, and knowledgeable of financial systems like SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or HFM.

Stakeholder Management & Change Influence: Confident in managing stakeholder relationships, and drive influence and changes across cross-functional teams.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities to translate complex data into manageable insights.

Communication: Thrive in communicating complex data in ways that translate into clear and meaningful insights for wide audiences.

Collaboration and Team Adaptability: Enjoys working in dynamic, fast-paced environments and collaborates successfully across diverse teams.
