About The Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of English speakers around the world? Alignerr, a leading AI research project, is looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with an authentic English (England) accent to participate in paid studio recording sessions.
This is a contract role aimed at experienced voice talent. Your recordings will assist AI systems in learning to understand natural, human-sounding English—how it is actually spoken in England.

- Record natural, conversational English speech in a professional studio environment
- Participate in single-speaker recordings and dual-speaker dialogue sessions
- Deliver unscripted-sounding speech across diverse, everyday scenarios
- Varied the tone, pacing, and delivery based on light creative direction
- Bring performance instincts to ensure dialogue feels realistic and human
Requirements
- Professional voice actor or voice-over artist with proven experience
- Native or near-native English speaker with an authentic, natural England accent
- Currently based in England
- Comfortable performing natural, conversational dialogue, not solely narration
- Reliable, professional, and open to direction in studio settings
- Fluent in English at a working level for communication and direction

Nice-to-Have
- Background in acting, theatre, or live performance
- Experience in broadcast, podcast production, or studio recording
- Familiarity with dialogue-based or character-driven voice work
