Voice Actor / Voice-Over Artist — Scottish English (AI Speech Training)

About The Role

What if your Scottish voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people around the world? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with authentic Scottish accents to participate in paid studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project.

This is a contract role for experienced voice talent based in Scotland. Your voice won't be cloned — this project is about capturing the natural richness and authenticity of Scottish speech to help AI systems better understand real human conversation.

Session Length: 4 hours per session (2–3 sessions total)

What You'll Do

  • Record natural, conversational Scottish English speech in a professional studio environment
  • Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue recordings
  • Deliver realistic, human-sounding dialogue — the goal is natural, not scripted
  • Follow light creative direction to vary tone, pacing, and delivery style
  • Bring your authentic Scottish accent and vocal personality to every session

Who You Are

  • A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with real recording experience
  • A native or near-native Scottish English speaker with an authentic regional accent
  • Currently based in Scotland
  • Comfortable performing natural, conversational dialogue in a studio setting
  • Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction
  • Confident working in both solo and paired dialogue recording formats
