Voice Over Artist — Welsh English (AI Speech Recording)
About The Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands real human speech? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with an authentic Welsh accent to take part in paid studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project.
This is a contract role involving a small number of focused recording sessions. Your voice will help AI systems better understand natural, conversational English as it's genuinely spoken in Wales — making technology more accurate and inclusive for Welsh speakers everywhere.
This project does not involve voice cloning.

What You'll Do
- Record natural, conversational Welsh-accented English speech in a professional studio environment
- Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue recordings
- Deliver realistic, human-sounding dialogue that feels unscripted and authentic
- Follow light direction to vary tone, pacing, and delivery style
- Bring your genuine Welsh accent to every session — that's the whole point
Who You Are
- A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with demonstrable experience
- A native or near-native Welsh accent speaker — authentic regional sound is essential
- Comfortable performing natural conversational speech, not just scripted reads
- Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction in a studio setting
- Fluent in English at a working level for communication and session participation
- Currently based in Wales
