Scottish Voice Performer — AI Speech Recording (In-Studio)
About the Role
What if your Scottish accent could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people around the world? We’re looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with authentic Scottish accents to participate in paid studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project.
This is a contract role for experienced voice professionals. Your distinct Scottish English is exactly what this AI speech research project requires.

- Commitment: 2–3 sessions of 4 hours each
Important: This project does not involve voice cloning. Recordings will only be used to improve how AI systems understand natural human speech.

What You’ll Do
- Record natural, conversational Scottish English in a professional studio
- Participate in single-speaker recording sessions and dual-speaker dialogue exchanges
- Deliver realistic, unscripted-sounding speech across varied prompts and scenarios
- Follow light directorial guidance to adjust tone, pacing, and delivery
- Bring authenticity and professionalism to every session
Who You Are
Required: ✅ Professional voice actor or voice-over artist with documented experience ✅ Native or near-native Scottish English speaker with an authentic regional accent ✅ Currently based in Scotland ✅ Comfortable recording natural, conversational dialogue (not just formal narration) ✅ Reliable, punctual, and open to studio direction ✅ Fluent in English at a working communication level

Nice to have (but not essential): 🔹 Background in acting or performance 🔹 Broadcast, podcast, or commercial studio recording experience 🔹 Comfort with both solo and dialogue-based recording
