Scottish Voice Actor — AI Speech Recording (In-Studio)
About The Role
What if your Scottish accent could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of people around the world? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with authentic Scottish accents to take part in paid in-person studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project.
This is a short-term contract role with competitive hourly pay. If you have a natural Scottish accent and experience in front of a microphone, this is your opportunity to contribute to technology that genuinely matters — and get well paid for doing what you do best.

What You'll Do
- Record natural, conversational Scottish English speech in a professional studio environment
- Participate in solo recording sessions and paired dialogue conversations
- Deliver realistic, human-sounding speech that feels unscripted and natural
- Follow light direction from session producers to vary tone, pacing, and delivery
- Bring your authentic Scottish accent to every session — regional authenticity is the whole point
Who You Are
- A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with real recording experience
- A native or near-native Scottish English speaker — your accent is your credential
- Comfortable performing natural, conversational dialogue (not just scripted reads)
- Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction in a studio setting
- Currently based in Scotland

Nice to Have
- Background in acting, performance, or broadcast media
- Prior experience recording in professional studios, podcasts, or radio
- Comfort with both solo and conversational dialogue formats
