About the Role

We're looking for a volunteer to join our team, providing general administrative support to the charity's CEO, and taking responsibility for the loading and tracking of the charity's gift cards.

What difference will you make?

Your contribution will help our CEO focus on the strategic work of growing the charity. Through accurate loading and tracking of our gift cards, you will help ensure that support reaches people in need without delay, and that our records remain reliable for partners, funders, and the wider team.

What's in it for you?

  • A flexible volunteering opportunity that can fit around your existing commitments.
  • The chance to use your professional skills to give back and support a meaningful cause.
  • A supportive, collaborative environment with a clear and focused scope of work.
  • Being part of a team of passionate, committed volunteers.

What are we looking for?

  • A background in administration, ideally including support to a senior manager, director, or CEO.
  • A methodical, accurate approach to data entry and record-keeping, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills, comfortable drafting correspondence, meeting notes, and internal updates.
  • Discretion and good judgement when handling confidential or sensitive information.
  • Strong Microsoft 365/Office skills, including Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to manage your own workload, balancing recurring tasks with ad hoc requests, and to work responsively with the CEO and wider team.
  • Ideally, experience working with charities or similar organisations, though this is not essential.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Remote

What will you be doing?

Clothing Collective’s story began in 2018, when we set out to assist those in our society facing difficulties in clothing themselves. We wanted to bridge the gap between the vast resources available across the country and those who had little or no access to them. Over the past eight years, we have become a recognised leader in providing access to clothing by connecting people in need with existing stock held by charity shops.

In 2024, we entered an exciting new chapter as a charity, revitalising and refocusing our mission. We are strengthening our offer and empowering our partners and volunteers to help achieve our goals.

In this role, you will provide administrative support to the charity’s CEO, helping to keep the charity's central operations running smoothly, and you will hold responsibility for the loading of our gift cards, the mechanism through which our support reaches people in need. We’re a volunteer-run charity, and we're looking for someone with the time and motivation to commit to this role, and who wants to contribute their experience to meaningful work helping people affected by clothing poverty.

The role will involve

  • Providing general administrative support to the CEO, including both recurring and ad hoc tasks that support the smooth running of the charity.
  • Supporting general record-keeping and correspondence, including drafting and formatting documents, occasional research and reporting, managing shared files, and helping to keep internal information organised and up to date.
  • Loading gift cards and maintaining accurate records of their allocation, redemption, and expiry, working closely with our Distributing Partnerships Manager.

This role would suit someone steady, organised, and reliable, who takes a calm and measured approach to recurring administrative processes, is confident working alongside senior team members, and is happy taking ownership of the gift card administration that underpins our distribution model.
