Help shape the future of Sonic Radioboom!

We're looking for a creative volunteer to help redesign our branding, social media, website graphics, and promotional material. A great opportunity to build your portfolio while making a real impact on an independent internet radio station.

What difference will you make?

Your creativity will play a key role in shaping how thousands of people experience Sonic Radioboom.

We're building more than a radio station—we're creating a welcoming online community centered around music, creativity, and fandom. Strong visual branding helps us attract new listeners, recruit volunteers, build partnerships, and present a professional image across every platform.

By volunteering with us, you'll help create a lasting identity that will be seen across our website, social media, merchandise, events, and future projects. Your work will directly influence the next chapter of Sonic Radioboom and help us grow into a stronger, more recognisable community.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who is creative, enthusiastic, and enjoys bringing ideas to life through design. Whether you're an experienced designer or building your portfolio, we'd love to hear from you.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Our ideal volunteer will have:

  • Experience creating logos, branding, illustrations, or digital graphics.
  • A portfolio of work (professional, freelance, academic, or personal projects).
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • A willingness to take feedback and develop ideas.
  • A good eye for colour, typography, and layout.
  • The ability to manage their own time and volunteer remotely.
  • Passion for creativity, music, online communities, or fandom culture is a bonus but not essential.

Experience with software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Affinity Designer, Canva, Figma, or similar is desirable, but we're more interested in creativity, enthusiasm, and a strong portfolio than the specific tools you use.

We welcome applications from students, graduates, experienced designers, and anyone looking to use their skills to support a creative community project.
