We are looking for a passionate person to join our Groundwork South and North Tyneside team to take on a unique opportunity to shape and lead a volunteering programme that makes a real difference across diverse and inspiring places – from heritage and green spaces to vibrant community centres.

This person will lead and develop Groundwork South and North Tyneside's volunteering programme across multiple sites by recruiting, onboarding, coordinating and supporting volunteers and work experience placements. The Volunteer Coordinator will ensure volunteers have a positive, inclusive and rewarding experience while maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance. The role will also manage and grow corporate volunteering partnerships, monitor and demonstrate the impact of volunteering activities, and contribute to the ongoing development and sustainability of a volunteering programme that supports community wellbeing, environmental improvement and social action across South and North Tyneside.
