Volunteer Coordinator

We are looking for a passionate and organised Volunteer Coordinator to help support and grow our UK-wide volunteer network. This is a flexible volunteer role ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, building communities, and helping make a difference.

What difference will you make?

By coordinating relevant volunteer support you will make a huge difference in helping a small charity grow and expand on their reach.

What are we looking for?

  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Friendly, approachable, and supportive
  • Comfortable coordinating people remotely
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Passionate about helping others and supporting charitable causes
  • Experience in volunteering, fundraising, administration, or social media is helpful but not essential

What will you be doing?

The Volunteer Coordinator will help organise volunteers involved in fundraising events, awareness campaigns, social media contributions, and community engagement activities across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Volunteer Support & Coordination

  • Help recruit and welcome new volunteers
  • Maintain regular communication with volunteers across the UK
  • Match volunteers to suitable opportunities based on their interests and availability
  • Coordinate volunteer involvement for events and campaigns
  • Keep volunteer records and contact lists organised and up to date
  • Help ensure volunteers feel supported, valued, and included

Events & Fundraising

  • Coordinate volunteers for fundraising events and awareness activities
  • Support planning of volunteer rotas and event staffing
  • Encourage volunteer-led fundraising initiatives within local communities
  • Help identify opportunities for fundraising and community partnerships

Social Media & Community Engagement

  • Coordinate volunteers contributing to social media content and awareness campaigns
  • Support volunteers sharing stories, photos, videos, and charity updates
