About Trackmond
Trackmond is a remote patient monitoring platform helping healthcare providers manage hypertension and diabetes patients between clinic visits. Through our mobile application and clinician dashboard, doctors receive real-time patient health data, enabling earlier intervention and better patient outcomes.
We are looking for a Volunteer Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to building impactful healthcare technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features across the Trackmond mobile application and web dashboard.
- Build responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and database integrations.
- Implement authentication, authorisation, and user management functionality.
- Integrate third-party services and healthcare-related APIs where required.
- Troubleshoot, debug, test, and optimise application performance.
- Collaborate with product, design, healthcare research, and engineering teams.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
- Help shape product features that directly support healthcare providers and patients.

Requirements
- Experience with React, React Native, Next.js, or similar frontend technologies.
- Experience with backend development using Node.js, Express, or equivalent technologies.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and modern web development practices.
- Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, Supabase, Firebase, or similar.
- Understanding of Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Passion for healthcare innovation, startups, and technology for social impact.
Nice to Have
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with Expo and React Native mobile development.
- Experience with Supabase.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Previous startup or HealthTech experience.
