About Us: Spectrom Connect C.I.C. is an innovative social enterprise dedicated to tackling digital exclusion and social isolation within the blind and visually impaired community. Our flagship project is "Spectrom," a "born accessible," audio-first mobile application designed to facilitate authentic friendship, dating, and peer support without the barriers of traditional visual swipe culture.
The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic Volunteer Funding & Corporate Partnerships Manager to help identify and secure alternative income streams during our pre-seed phase. This role is highly collaborative. You will work closely with our Founder (CEO), our Non-Executive Director (NED) for Assistive Technology and Community Engagement, and our Volunteer Digital Marketing Lead to build out our corporate sponsor pipeline and research alternative social enterprise seed grants open to CICs limited by shares.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
