About Us
We are a dedicated charity working across the UK and Zimbabwe to transform educational outcomes for young people facing social and economic disadvantage, physical disabilities, or neurodivergent conditions (such as Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia).
Our mission is to build inclusive learning environments, provide educational grants and essential materials, and open doors for young people who need it most.
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Volunteer Funding Specialist based in the UK to help us unlock vital resources. In this role, you will research, draft, and submit compelling grant applications to trusts, foundations, and community funds to support our UK and international projects.

What You'll Be Doing
- Grant Research: Identify suitable UK trusts, foundations, and institutional funders whose criteria align with our work in neurodiversity, education, and international development.
- Proposal Writing: Draft persuasive funding proposals, grant applications, and case-for-support documents.
- Project Liaison: Work closely with our leadership team to translate project goals, budgets, and real-world outcomes into funder-ready applications.
- Tracking Progress: Maintain a pipeline of active applications, upcoming deadlines, and reporting requirements.
What We're Looking For
- UK-Based: Essential for understanding local funding bodies and trust regulations.
- Strong Writing Skills: Ability to write clearly, concisely, and with heart.
- Research & Detail Oriented: Skilled at reading funder guidelines and matching our projects to their priorities.
- Passion for Inclusion: An interest in neurodiversity, disability advocacy, or youth education.

- (Desirable) Prior experience in grant writing, fundraising, or bid application work—though enthusiastic communicators looking to build experience are welcome!
