Role Overview
The MDT Administrator will support the smooth running of multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings by managing diaries, checking rotas, and ensuring all relevant medics are available. Working closely with the MDT Leads, this role involves scheduling and supporting meetings according to specialty or specific instructions provided. Attendance required at one or two meetings per week (each meeting may be up to 2 hours long) to note MDT outcomes. Meetings often occur during evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the MDT Leads to schedule MDT meetings based on specialty and given instructions
- Liaise with panel members to co-ordinate their schedules, ensure availability for MDT meetings and confirm attendance in advance
- Organise and maintain the MDT rota for seamless coordination
- Share MDT meeting invitations and links for MDT lists and case files
- Attend one or two MDT meetings each week and take minutes

Skills and Experience Required
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills for liaising with medical professionals
- Proficiency in using WhatsApp, Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel) and scheduling systems including MS Teams
- Familiarity with SharePoint is helpful but not essential
- Reasonable typing speed to take MDT minutes
Operating System
- Windows users must be running Windows 11, fully up to date with the latest security updates
- Mac users must be running macOS Sonoma or later, fully up to date with the latest security updates
- Office Software
- Access to Microsoft Word desktop
- Ability to create, edit, and save standard document formats (e.g..docx)
- Messaging
- WhatsApp desktop application installed and operational
- Active WhatsApp account linked to a mobile number
- General
- Sufficient hardware to run the above software without performance issues
- Stable internet connection

Commitment
The role requires a minimum commitment of 5 hours per week, with preferred availability during UK (GMT) daytime hours on Thursdays and Fridays, as well as one Sunday per month
