Volunteer Product Designer at United States of Africa Location: Remote

The United States of Africa (USAF) is a nonprofit organization that seeks to promote unity, peace, and development in Africa. We are currently looking for a Volunteer Product Designer to help us design and develop innovative products that will help us achieve our mission.
As a Volunteer Product Designer, you will be responsible for designing products that align with the USAF's mission and vision. You will work closely with our team of volunteers to identify user needs, brainstorm ideas, and develop prototypes. You will also be responsible for conducting user research, gathering feedback, and iterating on designs.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our team of volunteers to identify user needs and develop product ideas
- Create prototypes and wireframes to communicate design concepts
- Conduct user research to gather feedback and iterate on designs
- Develop user flows, interaction models, and user interfaces
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented correctly
- Create design guidelines and documentation to ensure consistency across products
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, or related field
- Proven experience as a product designer
- At least 2 to 5 hours a day time commitment
- Excellent design skills and a strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to design high-quality products
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for social impact and a desire to contribute to the USAF's mission
