IMPORTANT - As a small, unfunded non-profit organisation, we DO NOT accept Visa Sponsorship applicants. We can only accept applicants residing in the U.K.
Are you a vegan wildlife enthusiast who wants to make a difference and protect UK Wildlife? Why not volunteer on our small, friendly team and proofread our educational campaign content.
This remote, flexible, part-time (5 hrs/week) online role is ideal for someone passionate about UK wildlife, animal wellbeing, and ethical conservation. We need a fully reliable volunteer to take on this important role of checking our online content before publication.
Summary of the Role
Being an online wildlife campaign organisation, the Volunteer Proofreader role holds an important place within the organisation, providing a backstop that ensures accuracy and credibility.
The volunteer proofreader checks for content accuracy (eg: grammar, spelling, value-alignment, wildlife news) and presentation accuracy (eg: branding). They will also need to provide timely feedback, ensuring that content aligns with our essential training (eg: copyright, data protection, defamation) to remain legally compliant.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
