Role Description
The Volunteer Radio Presenter is an on-site role based in Chatham. In this position, the presenter will host live shows, introduce music anthems, and engage listeners with thoughtful commentary and interactive segments. Responsibilities include:

The presenter will collaborate with the GlitterBeam team to develop new show ideas, record and edit content where needed, and contribute to the station’s inclusive and distinctive programming. The role also involves building listener engagement through:

- On-air interaction
- Participation in station events

Qualifications
- Passion for Music, with an understanding of anthems and non-mainstream playlists.
- Clear verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to different show formats.
- Willingness to learn broadcasting laws and regulations, follow station policies, and uphold high ethical and editorial standards.
- Previous experience in radio, podcasting, performance, or public speaking is not essential; training and mentoring will be provided.
- Ability to work on-site in Chatham, and collaborate effectively within a diverse, inclusive team environment.
