Reception Support Volunteer – Join Change Grow Live

About the Role

We are seeking Reception Support Volunteers to support our busy reception, offering a meaningful way to make a real difference.

Volunteering with Change Grow Live lets you support positive change in people’s lives, helping individuals grow as individuals and live life to its fullest potential.

At Change Grow Live, you'll play a vital role in shaping lives, offering hope, and fostering resilience.


Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Reception Support Volunteer will be one of first contact, ensuring our services provide a warm, welcoming experience for everyone.

  • Greed visitors professionally with courtesy and friendliness.
  • Assist with initial queries and liaise with staff where needed.
  • Coordinate and manage appointments, including a busy waiting area.
  • Signpost clients to relevant local and service-based support, such as:
    • Smoking cessation advice
    • SMART Recovery programmes
    • Mutual Aid groups
  • Grow professional experience in the substance misuse field, under the guidance of a supportive team.
