Position Type: Retail Brand Experience Volunteer (Flexible Shifts)

This is an in-person volunteer opportunity.

About TALES House London

TALES House London is a curated, multi-brand experiential retail and cultural space by Bellafricana, located on Oxford Street. The space brings together a carefully selected collection of African and diaspora brands across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, home, and creative industries.

More than a traditional retail store, TALES House is a destination for storytelling, discovery, culture, community, and meaningful customer experiences.

About Role

We are looking for enthusiastic, people-oriented, and culturally aware individuals to support the day-to-day customer experience within TALES House London. This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking practical experience in retail, customer experience, fashion, lifestyle brands, events, brand activation, community engagement, and creative industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and visitors into the store and help create a warm, memorable experience.
  • Support customer engagement by sharing information about featured brands and products.
  • Assist customers with product discovery and general enquiries.
  • Help maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and organisation.
  • Support visual merchandising and product displays.
  • Assist with in-store activations, pop-ups, community events, and brand showcases.
  • Support the team with stock organisation and general retail operations.
  • Capture and share the positive energy and atmosphere of the space where required.
  • Act as a positive ambassador for TALES House London and Bellafricana.
