Volunteer Service User Representative
Service User Voice Facilitator – CGL Luton Recovery Alliance
About the Role
At Change Grow Live, we believe that those who access our services should be at the heart of everything we do. Individuals with lived experience have a unique and invaluable perspective on how our services can be improved.
We are seeking passionate facilitators to help us engage with our service users, ensuring their voices are heard, valued, and incorporated into the development and improvement of our services.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Help engage with people accessing our services, ensuring their opinions shape how we run Change Grow Live (CGL), Luton Recovery Alliance and other services.
- Act as a listener, gathering feedback, representing service user views, and using insights to inform service improvements.
- Ensure transparency, sharing decisions and changes with the communities we support—embracing transparency for long-term trust.
- Work closely with Change Grow Live staff and connect with the wider community to strengthen our impact.
- Be committed to empowering service users, giving them a real say in service development.

Training & Commitment
Training is essential for this role. As a volunteer, you’ll complete:

- Volunteer Induction
- Boundaries & Confidentiality
🔹 Required Training:
- Drug Awareness
- Harm Reduction
- Alcohol Awareness
Training dates to be confirmed.

- Age Requirement: Must be 18+ years old
- DBS Check: Basic Criminal Records Background Check required
