Volunteer - Spiritual Care - Newcastle Hospice
We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to join our Spiritual Care Team at Marie Curie Hospice in Newcastle Upon Tyne, offering pastoral, spiritual, or religious support to patients, their families,, their family members or friends during life’s most challenging moments.
Availability: Weekday mornings/afternoons or occasional weekends or evenings
Time: Flexible to suit your schedule
Location: Marie Curie Hospice, Marie Curie Drive, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE4 6SS
Criteria: Minimum 18 years of age. A Criminal Record Check is required for this opportunity - Marie Curie will cover the cost of this.
What you'll be part of:
- Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and occasionally staff.
- Respect and honor individual beliefs, cultures, and backgrounds.
- Attend team meetings as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- Assist with other related tasks when necessary.
